How does parking work on campus?

Team

How are rosters finalized?

We will be using the finalized rosters submitted in the https://scoring.cp.tc portal.  Rosters are considered finalized from active team members at regionals.  Any changes, such as alternate swaps, must be requested via email. Consider any impacts that team member changes may have on travel arrangements, as it is often not possible to change flights once they are booked.

Who is allowed to participate?

We allow each participating team to bring six competitors (see here for how rosters are finalized) and one coach. Alternates, who are not being elevated to full competitor, are not permitted to travel to or participate in the International Finals event. We may allow other full time staff (such as advisors, department heads, etc.) to travel to finals at the expense of your university.

Event

Where will the event take place?

The competition events will primarily take place at the Global Cybersecurity Institute (GCI) at the Rochester Institute of Technology (https://www.rit.edu/cybersecurity/). There may be other locations on campus that will be used for events which will be announced during the event. This building has extensive telepresence and video conferencing capabilities which will be leveraged to provide a consistent experience for both remote and in-person portions of the event.

Will any special events take place during the event?

We will be planning a banquet (logistics and health and safety protocols to be determined) on Friday evening at the RIT Inn and Conference Center. There will also be opportunities to meet with representatives of CPTC sponsors, volunteers, and other teams during the event.

How should we dress for the events?

CPTC events are considered professional interactions with an actual client.  Students should keep this in mind when planning for their attendance at the event, the team banquet, and presentations.
